The Allied Media Conference just took place in Detroit this past weekend. A lot of Bay Area folks had a chance to go and find out what creative social and media justice activists have been up to.

Week Of May 6, 2013: Hacking, Meditation, Yoga, And Gener-asian Gap Gallery!
The Gener-Asian Gap is a gallery exhibition featuring a rich mix of local, multi-generational artist depicting their experiences with the generation gap within their families. Both sides of the story will be told — one by the youth of Oakland, and one by parents and older folks. The pieces collectively share our struggles, successes, and how the generation gap affects us.
This Week: Hackers, Books, Writing, Crafting, Community Legal Help, Queer Youth!
So much is going on this week! Monday is Hack / Learn to Program Night, Tuesday is the Miracle Bookmobile Book Club, Thursday is the Resilient Communities Legal Café, and Friday we have QTY Treehouse coming over for a sewing night for queer and trans youth 24 and under!
